About

YAY is a Swedish festival that offers inspirational and mind blowing talks from amazing people as well as astonishing bands and artists and impeccable dj's. People that you could only wish would come to your private dinner table and spoil you with pristine and sensational stories. Now on stage for your viewing pleasure!

YAY is the primal destination for finding and encounter innovation, inspiration and creativity in the form of talks, gigs and dancing. It takes place in the capital of Sweden and the objective is to nurture vision, ambition and originality. At Delight Studios in the eco-friendly Hammarby Sjöstad you will laugh, cry and dance of joy. You will beg for it to keep going and we will make sure it will.

YAY is free of charge

To celebrate the beginning of YAY, our first event will be free of charge. Just make sure that you get a hold of a ticket and bring cash for food and drinks.

The date is 17th of November!

Speakers

  • Aaron Draplin (US)

Aaron James Draplin has been called a badass in the same sentence as a big softie. He's a big, loud and shamelessly big-hearted graphic designer who is probably the most sincere designer on this planet. He's done sleeves for Richmond Fountain, is one of the founders of Field Notes brand and has done more logotype's than David Hasselhof has done cheesy smiles.

His talk on Creative Mornings is one of the most appreciated and doesn't leave anyone unaffected. At the moment he's on a world tour with his "Tall Tales from a Large Man" and now he's in Sweden!

Been speaking and sharing passion at design conferences like OFFF, Design Planet, Playgrounds and FITC.

Come see Mari and her work in our student showcase!

  • Jessica Hische (US) — CANCELLED
